Best fielder in baseball?

i would say alexei ramirez on the white sox

It depends on what position. I cant pick a best fielder in baseball since many of the players dont do the same thing defensivly.

Best outfielder - Andruw Jones or Tori Hunter or Ichiro or Jim Edmonds
Best Infielder - Omar Vizquel or J-Roll (he's decent)

He holds the record for most consecutive put outs w/o an error so learn your stuff before you start questioning.

yikes 1 play doesnt make u the best fielder in baseball.....

Pedroia, Phillips, Cano, Utley, Roberts, Iwamura, Lopez, just to name a few all have a higher fielding percantage then Ramirez and this is just second baseman.....and ure saying hes the best fielder in baseball.....yikes

he isnt even the best secondbasemen

2007-9 errors .986 fielding percentage
2008- 1 error .995 fielding percentage (55 games)


Khalil-
2007-11 errors .984 fielding percentage
2008- 8 errors .982 fielding percentage (105 games)

Khalil has way more range so he gets more chances to make errors.

Vizquel 07 - 198 Putouts
Vizquel 08 - 71 Putouts

Greene 07 - 218 Putouts
Greene 08 - 146 Putouts

He may have more errors and not as good fielding percentage, but its only because Khalil has the ability to get to more balls.
