How does it work.

Obviously the higher your rep. the better liked u are but how do u gain rep.

You should rep someone good when they make a nice post or reply

... i.e... I post a song in the music section
you should give me a rep if u download it

or...

if someone post an interesting article
and you learn something or find something out from it

you should rep them

... you shouldnt rep someone (good) for nothing...
always have a good reason

i was thinking that it could work like this

everyone starts with a 50/100 rep and when i (or other admin) sees that you make a positive post, we will rep you up. if we see you spamming or being critical of others for no reason (cough philly cough) or doing other negative things we will rep you down

i think with the new contender system we should get rid of the rep system because first of all having both bars their doesn't look good and the rep system is gay.
