| How did pittsburgh benefit from this deal they got prospects. Prospects are unproven what happens when they come out to be total busts? Just cuz ESPN says that those players are prospects and might be good doesnt necessarily mean they will be | |

The pitcher prospect can throw 98 mph, which means if he learns control he can be good, and Moss is ok.

ESPN is always wrong. Manny came out pulling a Ron Artest/Dennis Rodman and chose a weird number in 99.

who said he wouldnt be? We just said they gave up too much and dont think theyll win the WS with Bay. I think they will be in the playoffs if they pitch well.

| I think bay is going to be a good fit in Boston i think he will produce well. The sox are just as good without manny as they were with him because he was a distraction to the clubhouse. The sox still have a great chance of winning the WS | |

man, i hate the word DISTRACTION. those players dont think about manny when their on the field, it does not affect their production...manny is the lsat thing that comes to their mind when their playing. its such an overused word in baseball. i still think the redsox could of sorted this situation out, they are one of the best organization in sports, and they couldnt handle 1 player.

| ^^^ yeah well thats a good point but this didnt this suddenly come about. Manny has gone thru phases in which he would act like this. Most of all it jsut came to the point of which the sox just didnt want him anymore. Thats what it really came down to. The organization just didnt want him. Im sure ppl like big papi will miss him and stuff, but baseball is also a business. | |

also I heard he has to cut his hair cuz Joe Torre has the same rule the Yankees do Yea he's gunna have to cutt off his locks. I betcha that bay will have better numbers in the AL than Manny will have in the NL even with the harder pitching

| I dont understand why the fans are like that. Manny did a lot for the Boston Organization when he was complaining lol. But i mean Manny is still one of my favorite players. He hit great for the sox for a fan to hold up signs saying manny who, shows their real fanhood. They probably dont even know a thing about baseball or just started following not knowing what manny did and just heard the name MANNY RAMIREZ. He did great for the sox and it was just time for him and the sox to part ways | |
